George McDonald, NC State WR Coach

Born on May 10, 1976 in Fort Wayne, Ind., North Carolina State Wide Receiver Coach George McDonald played wide receiver at Illinois and pursued a career in coaching upon graduating. He has spent over 15 years coaching football, primarily coaching wide receiver. From 2004 to2007, McDonald spent four seasons as a coaching intern in the NFL. He earned a full-time job with the Cleveland Browns as the wide receivers coach and worked for the Browns throughout the 2009 and 2010 NFL seasons. McDonald worked at Miami (Fla.), Arkansas, and Syracuse before landing at his current job at NC State. He is currently serving as the wide receiver coach at NC State and is touted highly for his success in recruiting.
