Model
Empowering athletes to
take control of their professional career
ABOUT
The Elam Model aims to develop young athletes into professionals and role models through advising, consulting, management, and providing marketing opportunities. The Elam Model prides itself on empowering its roster of athletes to take control of their careers by presenting a unique path to success both on and off the field.
NFL Safety Abram “Abe” Elam founded the Elam Model in January 2013 after playing in the NFL for seven years for the Miami Dolphins, Dallas Cowboys, New York Jets, Cleveland Browns, and Kansas City Chiefs. Elam, a Riviera Beach, Fla. native, played college football at the University of Notre Dame and Kent State University. Elam sought to put his professional football experience and knowledge to use by helping a new generation of athletes navigate the challenges of contract negotiations; marketing and endorsements; community relations; preparing for the NFL Draft; training for the NFL Combine; and public relations.
